Aims and Who should attend?

Come and join us to meet with French scientists and representatives of French research organizations.

The event aims at giving an opportunity for young French scientists currently studying or working in Southern California to meet with the representatives of major French Research Organizations in the United States. They will give an update of the state of public research in France and present the current opportunities and programs offered by their organizations to young scientists.

A large part of the program will be dedicated to discussions and Q&A in order to foster interactions and networking between all participants. This colloquium is free and open to scientists and students, both French and Francophiles, regardless of their field of interest.

If you are interested in education or research opportunities in France, please send us your CV and additional information on your professional project before the event. In order to further enhance the output of this event, do not hesitate to send us information about the topics that you would particularly like to explore during this meeting.

And, of course, do not hesitate to forward this information to colleagues and contacts who might be interested.

ABOUT US

The French Office of Science and Technology (OS&T) is part of the French Embassy in the United States. 28 people work at the OS&T, under the leadership of the Counselor for Science and Technology.

OS&T offices are located in Washington, DC and in the French Consulates in Atlanta (Georgia), Boston (Massachusetts), Chicago (Illinois) , Houston (Texas), Los Angeles (Southern California) and San Francisco (Northern California).

The OS&T aims are
