French Authors on Tour: Pierre Guyotat, Regarding in the garden

Please join us for an evening reading at the Schindler House, with Pierre Guyotat, and Sylvère Lotringer.
Pierre Guyotat was born in 1940, in south-eastern France. He has been described as "the last great avant-garde visionary of the 20th century” and his novels "violent, transgressive and inspired" (Edmund White). His books Eden, Eden, Eden; Tomb for 500,000 Soldiers, Prostitution,have become legendary classics. In a recent trilogy Coma, Formation, Arrière-Fond, he narrates the inception and crises of his poetic vocation. Guyotat will read from Coma (Semiotext(e), 2010)
This event is free with a suggested donation of $7/$6 for students and seniors.
