Presentation of the 2012 YEi program in Los Angeles and Pasadena [fr]
Representatives of the program YEi ("Young Entrepreneurs Initiative"), Audrey Guazzone and Celine Delval, were in Los Angeles on March 20th to present their 2012 program. The YEi 2012 Competition is designed to accelerate startups expansion to France by preparing entrepreneurs to the French innovative ecosystem and connecting them to the right partners (whether Academic or Industrial).
After a meeting with academics at the Consulate General of France in Los Angeles (see pictures), they went to Pasadena where they visited several life science’s incubators.
YEi ("Young Entrepreneurs Initiative") is a non-profit program that aims to encourage American innovative entrepreneurs to start or expand their ventures to France. It was launched in 2005 by the Embassy of France in the United States (Boston Office for Science and Technology). In 2010, the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs selected Retis, the French federation of incubators, as the new parent for the "Young Entrepreneurs Initiative" (YEi).
