The Consulate General of France in Los Angeles will accept visa applications from residents of:

- Arizona
- Colorado
- New Mexico
- Southern Nevada
: Counties of Clark, Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Mineral
- Southern California: Counties of Mono, Inyo, Kings, San Luis Obispo, Kern, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, Imperial, San Diego


Who needs to make an appointment?

- All applicants must apply in person and must make an appointment. Personal appearance is mandatory for AZ, CO, NM, Southern NV, Southern CA residents.

- If you are a resident from another state, please apply at the Consulate of your jurisdiction. If you are not a resident of our district, your application will be denied, no exceptions.

- Please note you will have to show us a driver license or state ID from one of these states (for students : driver license, state ID, student ID, current school registration from a school located in one of these states).

- B1-B2 visa holders: Please, apply in the country of your residence. No visas will be delivered to foreigners holding U.S B1-B2 visas.

- Children under the age of 6 are not required to be present if applying for a LONG STAY visa (for stays more than 90 days).
- Children under the age of 12 are not required to be present if applying for a short stay SCHENGEN visa.
