Make an appointment at the Visa Section

ALL VISA APPLICANTS MUST APPEAR IN PERSON AND MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE.

Children under the age of 6 are not required to be present if applying for a LONG STAY visa.
Children under the age of 12 are not required to be present if applying for a SCHENGEN visa.

BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT, PLEASE READ THE CHAPTER OF THE VISA YOU ARE APPLYING FOR and gather ALL the documents required to apply for a visa.

Due to a limited amount of appointments, we will NOT answer questions regarding appointment availabilities.

If you do not find an earlier appointment, please check periodically on the appointment system for any cancellations. If an appointment is cancelled, you will see an available date appear on the system.

If you are not able to attend, please free a slot by canceling or rescheduling your appointment by logging back in the appointment system and click on “changing your appointment”. You will need your “LAX” confirmation number and passport number.
If you have forgotten to print your confirmation page, you can log back into the appointment system and reprint your appointment confirmation page. You will need your “LAX” confirmation number and passport number.

One appointment = one person (for instance, family of four must take four appointments)
One appointment per person only: due to the high number of applicants, the French Consulate reserves the right to cancel appointments made by the same person on the same day (or even on two different dates).
