Short and Long Stay Visas

ALL VISA APPLICANTS MUST APPEAR IN PERSON AND MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE.

  • Children under the age of 6 are not required to be present if applying for a LONG STAY visa.
  • Children under the age of 12 are not required to be present if applying for a SCHENGEN visa.

Fingerprints and a picture must be taken at our premises. For more information on biometric visas please click here

BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT PLEASE READ THE CHAPTER OF THE VISA YOU ARE APPLYING FOR and gather ALL the documents required to apply for a visa.

Incomplete files will not be processed

Due to a limited amount of appointments, we will NOT answer questions regarding appointment availabilities.
If you do not find an earlier appointment, please check periodically on the appointment system for any cancellations. If an appointment is cancelled, you will see an available date appear on the system.

APPLICATIONS BY MAIL WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE REJECTED.

Every applicant must bring all the required documents for the type of visa for which he/she is applying, plus photocopies, on the day of his/her appointment. Incomplete files will not be processed regardless of his/her place of residence.

Please note that we reserve the right to require a second appearance of the applicant to the Consulate general (including residents of Southern California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Southern Nevada).
